Q: Where and when do I pick up my race packet?

A: Race Day Registration will begin at 6:15 a.m. at the school.  Pre-race package pick-up will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, April 11th in front of the school facing East Cherokee Road.

Q: Can someone else pick up my packet for me?

A: Yes, please send them to packet pick up with a copy of your registration

Q: What if it rains?

A: The race will take place rain or shine.  No refunds available.

Q: I can’t run, can I get a refund or transfer my entry?

A: No, all participant entries are non-refundable.  You may not transfer or sell your race number/entry to another person.

Q: How do I contribute but not race?

A: Those wishing to contribute will receive a race t-shirt without running may register prior to Friday, April 11th  as a “Phantom Runner” for $15.00.  On the registration page there will be a category for you to register.

Q: I can’t run L,  can I still get my t-shirt and goody bag?

A: Yes, please stop by, or have a friend or family member stop by packet pick up to collect your t-shirt and goodie bag.

Q: I would like to volunteer, can I help?

A: YES! We always need an extra set of hands! Please email us at HFESFoundaiton@gmail.com with your information!

Q: Where are the bathrooms located?

A: The school gym will be open for personal use prior and post-race.

Q: Are strollers, baby carriers or baby backpacks allowed?

A: No.  Due to safety concerns, we cannot allow strollers or baby carriers of any sort on the course.

Q: Is there an age minimum or maximum?

A: No, The races are open to all ages as long as the participant can race under their own power.

Q: Are dogs allowed?

A: No, pets are not allowed on the course at any time.  We don’t want anyone running or walking into any surprises!

Q: Are bikes allowed?

A: No.

Q: Is the race open to walkers?

A: Yes!  You will have two hours to complete the course.  If you move at a slower pace and are concerned you won’t finish in time, don’t worry!  The “sweeper” will come pick you up before the road is officially opened again to public traffic.

Q: When will the Fun Run take place?

A: The Fun Run will take place approximately 8:30 and will start at the same location as the 5K in the gym parking lot.
